With the election being around the corner, it’s good to get a reference point on the many changes over the past month. There’s been so many things going on that it wouldn’t seem real if someone told you.
First thing is, current Vice President Kamala has received enough delegates to be the Nominee for the Democrat Party. This comes after Biden stepped down due to his age and health.
She had momentum when it was first announced but that honeymoon phase is starting to wear off and she will have to lock in with her messaging to win over independent voters.
Trump is back to being Trump out on the campaign Trail. He was sharing messages of humility and gratitude after the attempted assassination at on of his campaign rallies in July. He is back to communicating his similar message that he had in 2020.
Both candidates have chosen their potential VP (JD Vance Republican & Tim Walz Democrat). And both already have mixed reviews.
Things are starting to heat up and some debates possibly are in the works. A lot of the changes started after the June debate between Biden and Trump. This set of the undeniable conversations that a change should be made at the top of the ticket for Biden.
The next few months a lot of ads, messaging and mis-messaging will be shared on Tv, social media and amongst peers.
However it is up to every individual voter to look up each candidate policy and understand the facts. Then make the adequate decision that’s best for them.
